MOBILE FEET – How it works:
If you would like to join us, show up to the church at 10:00am for a quick devotional and announcement briefing before launching to a site with one of our captains. Following two hours of service in the community, we meet back at the church for lunch at 12:15.
For the past seven years, Lanternites have set aside one Sunday per month (usually the first Sunday of every month) to suspend the traditional worship service for the purpose of serving at a variety of sites within the community and provide assistance to those in need through meeting physical needs and building relationships.
The Lantern Community Church is a group of people focused on growing as disciples of Jesus Christ while positively impacting the lives of residents in the communities of Inglewood, Ramsay and Calgary’s downtown east village.
A suggested donation of $3.00 per person or $10.00 per family helps us to cover the cost of the meal.
